My virtual mentor said during one training “Tell Your Boss That They Can’t Afford To Pay You!!” Well, it was obvious when I didn’t log on after stating to the director of the private school where I had been teaching for four years that I was MODIFYING my contract. Modifications of SEVERAL TERMS to include requiring upon enrollment into my SPANISH Class that the sometimes obnoxious private school parents PAY ME A REGISTRATION FEE!! lol 😂
Also, there would be a requirement for parents to have an orientation to familiarize them on MY CLASS RULES!!
The PRINCIPAL doesn’t RUN my classroom, I do!!
Ultimately, this virtually impossible learning environment during the COVID19 pandemic and shelter-in-place just isn’t conducive for my rigorous and very engaging teaching style.
At one point I was tempted to have a particular “super interesting” parent to show me HER cuaderno with notes from class since she thought that she knew how to teach MY CLASS…Good grief!!
